DO YOU KNOW?

In the United States, we are privileged to have freedom that many people of the world will never experience. Citizens are allowed access to free education, ownership of land, freedom of expression, and travel without interference and due process under the law.  Accordingly, US citizens are ultimately responsible for their safety.

When the riots affected the City of Baltimore, many persons did not know that the majority of insurance policies do not cover civil insurrection or riot. They thought that it was the government’s job to protect them. They were wrong, and they lost everything. Since it was the government’s problem, they did not have a security plan. More striking the City’s Protectors were ill equipped and over 100 police officers were injured. Furthermore, many people forget numerous crimes were committed during the Baltimore riots that were under reported.

We are concerned at threats far away due to media coverage, but do not think about real issues that affect our daily lives like the following:

Who are you associating with?

Who did you hire out of expediency?

Who is your neighbor?

Is your eccentric coworker planning a violent workplace altercation?

Have you vetted people working in your home, workplace, or allowed around your family?

Can you protect what you have spent a lifetime cultivating?

It is not the stranger you have to fear but the trust you have in colleagues, friends, confidants and people placed in positions of authority. In light of recent events are you prepared? It’s your responsibility to protect your family. Let’s make a plan together. Let me help you get the needed training.

Do not let apprehension or anxiety stop you from getting the needed training. The next crisis will occur. Are you ready?
